Notes relating to operation

● Seats on this cruise are available by reservation only. The minimum number of passengers for this cruise is 5.

Even if you have made a reservation, the cruise may be canceled in the event that we are unable to meet the minimum number of passengers. Details regarding the timing of the cancellation notification, as well as the current number of reservations, will be explained by the person in charge at the time of your application.
*Reservations may be unavailable depending on reservation status and time. Please note this in advance.

● The cruise may not be able to operate depending on weather and sea conditions.

There may be cases where the cruise is canceled, including (a) when a typhoon is approaching, and the cruise is canceled several days prior to the day of the cruise; and (b) when the weather changes suddenly or when the seas are rough, even if the weather is fine on the day of the cruise. We will contact you by phone immediately in the event that the cruise is canceled. We will take all possible measures to ensure that the cruise is able to operate, but please understand that this is also a matter of your safety.

Day of the cruise

1.Registration

Register at the boarding area before departure.
Please be sure to arrive at the boarding area at least 20 minutes prior to the departure time.
Registration will begin one hour prior to departure.

Notes for the day of the cruise

● Clothing

  • ・The sea around Hokkaido is very cold, so please come dressed in warm clothes. Please dress for fall in summer, and for winter in fall. Blankets are available, but in limited numbers.
  • ・As the vessel may rock, and the deck may be slippery, we recommend you wear clothes that are easy to move around in and non-slip footwear.
  • ・In general, you are required to wear life jackets when on the cruise to ensure your safety. We will provide life jackets.

● Food and beverages

  • ・Food and beverages (meals and drinks) are not provided on the cruise, so please feel free to bring your own food and beverages.
  • ・It is also important to stay hydrated, especially in the summer when cruising in warm weather. Please bring plenty of drinking water with you.
    (Sugar may cause seasickness, so we recommend you bring water or tea. )
  • ・Please take your garbage home with you.

● Cruise operation

  • ・Those who are either intoxicated or in poor health may be denied boarding.
  • ・Please follow the instructions of the captain and the staff during the cruise.
  • ・Please do not let your children out of your sight.
  • ・If we deem that changes in weather or sea conditions during the cruise may hinder safe operation, we may either return to port earlier than originally scheduled or alter the cruise route.
  • ・The cruise may be canceled in the following cases. Please understand that this is for your safety.
    • (1) In the event weather or sea conditions are likely to be dangerous for the operation of the vessel.
    • (2) In the event of an accident, natural disaster, maritime accident within the port, malfunction of the vessel used, or other unavoidable circumstances.
    • (3) In the event a passenger is taken ill.
    • (4) In the event of an order or request from the government or a public agency.
    • (5) In the event that there is a risk of danger in embarking or disembarking due to an emergency evacuation of the vessel.

Cancellations

Please contact us in advance if you need to cancel your reservation.
Please note that a cancellation fee will be charged beginning 3 days prior to the day of the cruise.
